In 2008, founder Donald “Doni” O’Bryan launched Southeast Surgical with a bold vision—partner exclusively with the Scanlan brand and redefine what surgical sales should look like in the Southeast.
Doni’s journey began in sports medicine, but a natural pivot to medical sales led him to work with industry innovators like DonJoy, Sage Products (now Stryker), and Verathon. From Comfort Bath and Bladder Scans to OR innovations like Scanlan instruments and Synovis Peri-Strips, Doni was instrumental in driving protocol-changing product adoption.
It was during his time with LXU Medical (now Integra LifeSciences) that Doni’s passion for the OR took root—working directly with surgeons, surgical nurses, and coordinators to provide tools that make critical differences.
Recognizing an opportunity to go independent and elevate the standard of representation, Southeast Surgical was born.
